On 12 May 2018, Hagi's Barber Shop 2.0 opened in the basement of the former district and local court in the Andreas Quartier Düsseldorf. Upon entering the shop, you find yourself in an entrance area with a bird's eye view of the entire shop. The stairs invite you into a utopian world of the Golden Twenties. 

On the left-hand side is the waiting area, decorated with stucco mouldings, historical pictures of the team and a bookshelf with selected design and art books. On the right-hand side of the shop is a product wall and the reception, surrounded by green metro tiles to reflect the traditional craftsmanship. 

Shamsedin ‘Hagi’ Rada is Düsseldorf's most experienced barber and a luminary in the barber industry. 

In 1989, Hagi discovered his passion for cutting hair and has been living and breathing his passion ever since. What once began with clients sitting on torn chairs quickly developed into a life's calling and today enjoys great popularity with guests from all over the world. Hagi combines detailed craftsmanship with boundless passion and won't put his scissors down until every guest leaves the chair with a smile. 

Inspired by barber culture in the US, England and the Netherlands, Seaver Rada designed the first Hagi's store in the timeless style of the 1920s in 2015 while studying psychology. With the vision of creating a holistic retreat for men 

Today, Hagi and his sons run two barber shops that pay homage to their father, Hagi.
